cn 35 was delivered new
to TWA on August 1960 as N828TW. N828TW would fly with the carrier
up to it was placed in storage on April 29, 1974. N828TW was
later sold on April 18, 1978 to American Jet Industries and reregistered
as N815AJ. just a few months later it was ferried to Mojave with
several others. N815AJ was sold to Torco Oil Co. in December 1993.
N815AJ would site for another 7 years before being sold to P&M
Aircraft. N815AJ was saved by Capt. Mike Potter a retired TWA Capt. that had
piloted Ship 35 before being retired, and with his company Ship
35 was shown on the sliver-screen in a number of television and
movie productions. On November 30,
2010 the aircraft was sold to Scroggins Aviation were today it will
be fixed up and continue to be used in film productions.
